Last Friday, a Las Vegas man was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and causing the death (after a hit-and-run) of a Las Vegas bicyclist, according to Metro Police Officers.
The cyclist was crossing at Sahara and Mohawk when he was struck by a 2008 Hyundai Accent heading West on Sahara. The cyclist suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital before being pronounced dead.
The driver, Abraham Lebron Jr., 40, initially fled the scene but turned himself in shortly after.
The crime is still under investigation.
