This past Saturday morning in the Las Vegas Valley, three individuals were injured in a three-vehicle crash. According to Metro Police, alcohol is suspect.
An un-named 17 year old Las Vegas male was driving a 1993 Honda Accord at high speeds Saturday morning when he crossed over into oncoming traffic. His car spun around and hit a 2007 Mazda CX-7 which was being driven by a 68 year old woman, Sharon Edmondson.
At this point, both vehicles spun into the path of a 2008 Ford Taurus being driven by 51 year old Doel Rojas.
The teenager ran from the scene of the crime but was captured and arrested by Metro. The two victims of the crash were taken to be treated for injuries at UMC.
Metro continues to investigate, and highly suspects alcohol was involved.
